Halle Best, TV's Domestic Diva, is proud of everything she's achieved.
Halle took her passion for baking and built her media empire alone after her ex Luke walked out on her sixteen years ago, leaving her a single mum to their two-year-old daughter Lizzie in a dingy flat in Hackney.
Now a bona fide celebrity success, she only speaks to Luke via her lawyer. But as he is threatening to write a tell-all book exposing some of Halle's deepest secrets, keeping him at arm's length won't be so easy anymore.
When Luke suggests a getaway to work through their past, Halle thinks he's crazy; if they can survive two weeks together it will be a miracle.
Yet reconnecting with her past, could be the only way to start her future.
I couldn't resist reviewing this book, after all Heidi Rice is one of my favourite authors and one who inspired me to write. My only problem with Heidi's books are that I always find the end comes too soon (only because I can't put them dow...

Only someone capable of understanding the killer's creative desire will be able to stop the murders and D I Eleanor Raven is uniquely qualified. Driven by a complex personality she pursues only the facts, only the things she can see, but never casts a judgement.

Hello and welcome to my first review in my new home! And what a way to begin, with Blood Instinct, book 6 in my favourite paranormal series, Blackthorn. I seriously could not wait to get my hands on the next instalment by British author, Lindsay J. Pryor. Anyone who knows me will know how much I fan-girl over both this series and the author. Both are amazing! And the wait was more than worth it. Here's why...

Hello and a warm welcome to my wonderful new blog!
‘Welcome Home’ isn’t solely a welcome to a new website, it’s also a welcome home to being ‘me’ again. Family life and a much needed house move were a complete distraction from writing and I always feel that writing should never be forced, or you end up missing that vital ingredient. The love! If I’m not feeling it, then you, the reader, won’t be feeling it either. So I took a rather lengthy time-out.
Now I’m happy to say that I’m back and I’ve found me again. Sure, family life is still chaotic but a sparkly new website, which I love, has set the cogs turning once more and has managed to revamp me too. That all-consuming urge is back. I want to write, I want to read and I’m certainly back to dreaming.
Take a look around and feel free to peek under the tabs, I’d love to know what you think. I hope you’ll continue to follow me on my blogging journey as I tackle writing a different genre and share book reviews.
