Fall in love with the perfect feel-good romance for fans of Katie Fforde, Jill Mansell and Carole Matthews.
It all started with a table for two…
Life for self-confessed bookworm Jayne Brady couldn’t be better – she has a twin sister she adores, a cosy little flat above a deli and now she’s found love with her childhood crush, gorgeous chef Will.
But when Will becomes a Youtube sensation, thanks to his delicious cookery demos (both the food and his smile!), their life of contentment come crashing down around them. Can Jayne have her Tiramisu and eat it?
There was an immediate warmth to the authors voice right from the beginning and I settled into the story right away.
When Jayne Brady bumps into her teen crush, all of the feelings she had back then coming flooding back. Only now, Will has transformed into a hunk and Jayne still feels like her old awkward self. When Jayne and her twin, Rachel, move in with Will and their relationship blossoms, Jayne couldn't be happ...

Could you ever trust again – the man who broke your heart?
Kate Fenton thought she’d got the answer to that question all neatly sewn up. Ever since she went to Saul Preston’s London art gallery, a month before their wedding, and found him with his assistant – who looked as if she was in the middle of a game of strip poker.
Now, three years later, she’s no longer so sure. Saul’s back in her life with a new proposition – accompany him on a trip to Majorca as his interpreter. It’s an offer Kate can’t refuse, even though she knows she should. Successful and rich, he’s just the sort of client her translation company is trying to attract – even if he is her two-timing ex!

Happy Anniversary Blackthorn! November marks four years since the release of Blood Shadows, book one in the stunning paranormal series by British author, Lindsay J. Pryor. If you’re already a fan of the series then I’m sure you’ll agree that it’s definitely a date worth celebrating. If you haven’t discovered the series yet, allow me to introduce you. Ladies and gentlemen, welcome to Blackthorn.
I'll never forget the day I met Kane Malloy, it was a rainy day and the tension in Blackthorn was high...Wait, was that me or was that Caitlin? I certainly felt like I was in Blackthorn that day. So much so that I had to contact the author and tell her how amazing her competition entry was - and we've been friends ever since. When I read Lindsay's chapter for the New Voices competition, it was fate. I'd never read paranormal before, yet that morning something made me click on the title and read. I was stunned by it and not at all surprised that Lindsay J. Pryor became a finalist. That she didn't...

Advice is the most precious tool in a writers tool kit. Not only that, we are a nosey lot and love a peek into someone else's writing process, just in case they've found that magic key to perfection. So welcome to my blog, author Rachel Brimble.
The highs & lows of being a writer and working around a family…by Rachel Brimble
As a full-time writer, I am one of the lucky ones. I am married with two teenage daughters and also mum to our mad chocolate Lab, Tyler. If I had to work out of the home, eke out time to write, and manage the house and kids, I would have most certainly given up my dream of writing books for a living by now.
Having said that, as I am able to write full-time around my family, the only way it is possible is to be dedicated and committed to the opportunity. I don’t take my position lightly and appreciate it every day by treating my work the same way I would if I had to work outside of the home.
I am at my desk by 8.30am and worked through until 5.30pm (with two dog walks i...
Today it's my absolute pleasure to be sharing my review of Saved by the Firefighter by Rachel Brimble. Having enjoyed the Templeton Cove series, I couldn't wait to read this one!
Genre: Contemporary romance
Release Date: Nov 1st
How can she forgive him for what he didn't do?
Photographer Izzy Cooper feels as frozen as her pictures. Trent Palmer might be the hottest firefighter in Templeton Cove, but she can never face him again. Not after he failed to save her brother. But when they're forced together by a calendar shoot, the sparks between them are undeniable.
Izzy knows it's not fair to blame Trent for the tragedy, but opening herself up to loss again isn't something she's prepared to do, no matter how determined Trent is to show her that pain is part of life and that love—their love—can make any suffering bearable.
The security alarm chimed. Someone had stepped inside the studio. Exhaling a heavy breath, Izzy pulled back her shoulders, lifted her head and forced a smile.

When I was asked to review a children's book I jumped at the chance, especially this one as all proceeds go to Alzheimers Research UK. As a parent I have had the pleasure to read many books with my children and to say that they are valued is a huge understatement. I have fond memories of those first stories that stirred my imagination and to give a shout-out to books that could inspire future generations of readers and authors is my absolute pleasure. I also thought it might be a good idea to get the opinion of my mini-me and bookworm in training - Lucie, my nine year old daughter. Read on for both of our reviews and to enter the giveaway!
